Senator Santorum on Iran

Senator Santorum is out of his depth when he discusses Iran.  He encourages Americans to view Iran as a threat, a country which hasn't invaded anyone in living memory, and is mostly hated for its role in ejecting Israel from Lebanon by helping start, and supporting, Lebanese Hezbollah.  He also calls the effort against terrorism the war against "Islamic Fascism."  He pushes the idea, which can only be mocked, that since some people want to establish Sharia globally, the mere existence of these people poses a significant challenge.  He calls Iran the central peice of the entire "mosaic" of Islamic Fascism, and calls Iran a threat to the world.  Iran, as we all know, funded and armed the Northern Alliance to fight the Taleban.  Iran, as we all know, spent its humanity and money to battle Saddam Hussein in Iraq.  Iran, as fewer know, has been incredibly helpful in assisting the United States in capturing members of al-Qaeda.
