C-SPAN 2, Cloture Vote on the Estate Tax

Senator William Frist of Tennessee shames himself and his party with his distortions and falsehoods.

One falsehood is that the Inheritance Tax was passed during a time of war.  It was passed in 1906, which was not a war.  If his deception stopped there it would be easy to forgive, but that was just part of it.

Of course I support an Inheritance Tax, and few exemptions for it, and I also favor hunting down those families who spend their lives in America, earning fabulous wealth, and then fleeing right before this tax comes through.
